Activities in March

The next demonstration will be on Friday 11 March from 8.00pm to 10.00pm in Market Hill Rooms.  The artist will be the Bedfordshire-based artist Jane Rhodes, who will be painting a “Street Scene in Pastels”.   You can find more information about Jane, with some examples of her work HERE.  See below for guidance on Covid restrictions at the meeting as recently advised by our Secretary Peter Morgan in an email to RAS Members which also contained the following details of our March events.

Although the Government has now relaxed the rules regarding Covid-related restrictions, for the time being we are still strongly recommending mask-wearing and social distancing at our events.

The above guidance also applies to our next Tuesday afternoon practical sessions which will be on 1 and 15 March from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Market Hill Rooms.

The next Royston Library changeover will take place from 3.15 to 4.00pm on Monday 7 March. Please wear a face-mask while in the Library and see Peter’s email for more important information.

Also, don’t forget that membership subscriptions for the year beginning on 1 April 2022 are now due.  If  haven’t already done so you will need to pay the renewal fee of £18 by 31 March to avoid incurring a £2 joining fee (and also to ensure that you are eligible to enter paintings in the 2022 Members’ Online Exhibition).  Details on how to pay were in the email sent out at the end of January by our Membership Secretary, Hazel Haywood – email membership@roystonarts.org.uk
